ABOUT US

At On Point Physical Therapy, we believe in the power of a hands-on approach to help individuals reduce or eliminate pain by addressing its source directly. This personalized, manual therapy approach focuses on techniques such as soft tissue mobilization and dry needling, which not only accelerate healing but also improve outcomes and reduce the overall duration of care.

Unlike the insurance-driven model, which often prioritizes a hands-off approach and undervalues manual treatment, we place the patient’s needs at the center of care. Our philosophy emphasizes direct, one-on-one treatment tailored to each individual, significantly reducing the number of visits needed and delivering faster, more effective results. The value of improving quality of life and reducing pain is immeasurable, and we aim to make that process as efficient and impactful as possible.

Knee Rehab

In Texas, physical therapists have modified direct access, allowing patients to seek care directly for up to two weeks without a referral. At On Point, we maximize this access to ensure you get the care you need, when you need it—often with same-day appointments. If additional visits are required beyond the initial two weeks, we will assist you in obtaining a referral to continue your progress.

By eliminating unnecessary barriers and focusing on a hands-on, patient-first approach, we empower individuals to take control of their pain and restore their quality of life. At On Point, we don’t just treat symptoms; we get straight to the point—addressing the root cause of pain to help you move better, faster.

Brandon Adkison, PT, DPT, BRM
Owner / Physical Therapist

Brandon Adkison, founder of On Point Physical Therapy, is an East Texas native with a passion for helping people move better and live pain-free. A graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University and the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Brandon earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2010. He quickly rose to lead one of Tyler, Texas’s top physical therapy clinics as director, earning a reputation for compassionate care rooted in Christian values.

Over the last decade, Brandon witnessed the limitations of traditional, insurance-driven physical therapy models, where rising costs forced clinics to reduce quality and limit hands-on care. Recognizing the need for a better approach, he founded On Point Physical Therapy to deliver the focused, personalized treatment patients deserve.

Brandon’s philosophy is simple: treat the person, not just the symptoms. By combining advanced manual therapy techniques with patient education, Brandon equips individuals to maintain their progress and prevent future issues. With his deep expertise and commitment to individualized care, Brandon has helped countless patients achieve lasting results, and he looks forward to doing the same for you.
