On Point Therapy FAQ

FAQ

  • How long are the therapy sessions?
Our sessions typically last between 45 minutes to an hour, depending on your individual treatment plan. We prioritize quality over quantity, providing the hands-on time necessary to help you recover efficiently.
  • Do you offer post-surgery rehabilitation?
Yes, we specialize in post-surgery rehabilitation, helping you recover from procedures like joint replacements, sports injuries, and other surgeries. Our goal is to restore function, mobility, and strength so you can get back to your daily activities as quickly and safely as possible.
  • Are your treatments covered by insurance?
While we operate outside of the traditional insurance model, we do offer a super bill for reimbursement, and we’re happy to help you understand your options for coverage. We prioritize providing quality care without insurance restrictions, so you can focus on your recovery.
  • Do I need a referral to get started with therapy?
In Texas, physical therapists can treat patients directly for up to two weeks without a referral. If additional visits are needed beyond that, we can help you obtain a referral to continue your progress. We make it easy to get the care you need when you need it.
  • How soon can I start therapy?
We offer flexible scheduling with same-day appointments available, so you can start your recovery as soon as possible. Contact us to schedule your initial assessment and take the first step toward pain relief and improved mobility.
  • Can physical therapy help with chronic pain?
Yes! Our therapies, such as manual manipulation and soft tissue mobilization, are designed to address the underlying causes of chronic pain. By restoring normal movement patterns and improving tissue mobility, we help alleviate discomfort and improve overall quality of life.
  • What makes On Point Physical Therapy different from other physical therapy clinics?
At On Point, we focus on a hands-on, personalized approach to care. Unlike traditional therapy models, we provide one-on-one sessions without time restrictions, ensuring that each patient receives the attention they need. Our emphasis is on manual techniques like joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, and dry needling to address the root cause of pain and speed up recovery.
  • What should I expect during my first visit?
During your first visit, we’ll conduct a comprehensive assessment to understand your specific condition, discuss your goals, and create a personalized treatment plan. You’ll receive hands-on therapy tailored to your needs, and we’ll explain how you can continue your progress outside of therapy sessions.
  • What types of conditions do you treat?
We treat a wide range of conditions, including headaches, TMJ, back pain, cervical pain, tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, joint pain, sports injuries, and pre- and post-surgery rehabilitation. Our services are designed to help individuals move better and feel better by addressing pain at its source.
